Serving & Helping…

If you aware of anyone who is in hospital or

requires a pastoral telephone call, please notify the

Church Office.

Do you have a suggestion for any of our church

committees? If so, please put it in our locked

mailbox until further notice. The Committee Chair

will be notified of your suggestion.

Harmony’s Facebook Page site administrators are

Gary Pederson and Teri Lynch. Please share any

ideas and words that may bring comfort or joy to

members of our congregation, and pictures of

Greeters, Scripture Readers and Coffee

Hosts/Hostesses will be needed when we get back

together again. Please call the church office to

indicate your interest: 345-5065.

Monthly GO Team Collection: 3rd Sunday of the

Month. (October’s collection will benefit “The

Mission for Seafarers”.)

Donations of Canadian Tire Money are gratefully

appreciated to help offset our operating costs.

Broadview Magazines are available. Please come

by during office hours if you would like one.

Lillian Gillson would welcome calls or visits. She

Events Happening at Harmony United

Until our banking arrangements have been

finalized, please continue to make out your

cheques to Knox United Church. Many thanks to

those who have been dropping off giving

envelopes and donations in the church’s locked


The Outreach Team is planning a Yard Sale which

will be held Saturday, October 31st from 9:30 a.m.

– 1:30 p.m. in Crittall Hall. Masks and distancing

will be required. We need items to sell that are

clean, and nearly new. Please, no televisions, or

heavy objects. Volunteers are also needed.

Monies  will be shared between the Current River

Churches   Food Cupboard and the School Milk

Westminster, First-Wesley, and Broadway have

attempted to open their sanctuaries for Sunday

Worship. The other four United Churches will

remain closed for Sunday Worship until further

notice. They will, however, continue to support and

collaborate on the live-streaming services as we

have been doing since March.

Crittall Hall, or in the entrance to the Sanctuary.

and your telephone number.


Events Happening in Our Sister Churches and


FOOD DRIVE FOR RFDA Saturday, October 17th 

from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. at Westminster United

Church (parking lot). They will accept monetary

donations, or the following food items:

Spices/herbs/salt & pepper

Canned tuna, ham, chicken

Canned tomatoes, tomato sauce

Dried lentils, beans, peas, and barley

Peanut butter

Mayonnaise, mustard, etc.
